In September 2000, an expanded version of GenPlus (the NINDS
Custom Collection ) was chosen by the NINDS as the basis for the
NINDS-ALSA Drug Discovery Program. This yielded new leads in the
quest for improved therapies for this debilitating disease.

Encouraged by the success of the NINDS Custom Collection and the
recommendations of the program participants, we have expanded both
GenPlus and NatProd into a single package of 2000 compounds. We
